Lost Convoy

Lost Convoy

Lost Convoy is the battlefield introduced with EVE Vanguard's Operation Avalon alpha. It is an Upwell Consortium salvage-recovery site on a hostile New Eden planet, where a destroyed convoy has crash-landed across warship wreckage, poisoned swamps, and hazardous jungle.

Your job on Lost Convoy is the core EVE Vanguard loop in miniature: drop in, raid the points of interest for salvage and tech, survive an escalating Mordu's Legion response, and reach a Harmonic Bridge to extract before orbital bombardment closes your exits.

Battlefield layout

The map is built around scattered Upwell salvage, so most objectives cluster near industrial structures rather than open ground. Dig sites and refineries hold the everyday loot; the colossal Upwell Command Block anchors the centre of the crash zone and is visible from most of the map as a navigation landmark.

The environment fights you as much as the enemy does. Poisoned swamps and hazardous jungle slow movement and limit sightlines, so plan routes between cover and treat the open wreckage fields as kill zones you cross quickly.

Who you fight here

Lost Convoy is defended by Mordu's Legion, the mercenary corporation Upwell hires to protect its assets. The Legion escalates the longer you stay: routine patrols give way to marksmen, troop drops from rapid-deployment vehicles, and eventually a chaingun-armed Heavy Oppressor dropped in to punish squads that linger at a rich objective.

Overstay the whole deployment and the Nemesis threat arrives — the same escalating alarm that defines every EVE Vanguard match. The lesson Lost Convoy teaches new Warclones is simple: greed for one more crate is how good runs end.

The Fueling Station

The highest-value objective on Lost Convoy is the Fueling Station (also called the Fueling Platform), a locked site that holds some of the map's strongest rewards. You cannot simply walk in: you first have to hunt down a Reserve Leader — an elite Mordu's Legion officer marked by red insignia — and take the keycode it drops.

Because the keycode forces a hard fight before the payout, the Fueling Station is a commitment. Clearing it and then extracting is one of the most reliable ways to leave Lost Convoy richer than you arrived.

Extracting from Lost Convoy

Extraction uses Harmonic Bridges, the same mechanic across EVE Vanguard. Find a bridge, activate it, and wait for it to come online before you step through with your haul. Orbital bombardment disables these bridges one at a time as the deployment runs on, so the window to leave narrows the whole match.

On Lost Convoy that means committing to an exit early. Note where the nearest bridge is before you push a rich objective, and be ready to abandon loot for a live extraction rather than a dead one.

Frequently asked questions

What operation is Lost Convoy from?

Lost Convoy is the new map introduced with EVE Vanguard's Operation Avalon alpha playtest, which runs 7–20 July 2026. It replaced the earlier greybox Sulphur Basin map used during Operation Nemesis in September 2025.

How do you open the Fueling Station on Lost Convoy?

Kill a Reserve Leader — an elite Mordu's Legion officer marked with red insignia — to collect the keycode it drops, then use that keycode to unlock the Fueling Station. It holds some of the strongest rewards on the map, so expect a tough fight around it.
